When you land on Yliway from an invite link (an address containing “?ref=”), we store a cookie on your device called “yl_ref” holding only the invite code of the person who invited you. It's a functional cookie: it serves something you asked for, which is entering through that link.
It lasts at most twelve months, but the window in which an invite is actually recognised is shorter and set by us: it's described in the invite programme. The cookie holds no name, phone number or other personal data, and is not used to profile you or show you ads.
You can delete it any time from your browser settings: the only effect is that whoever invited you won't get credit.
